Mastering the VBT Workout screen helps you get the most out of your training sessions—track performance, manage athletes, analyze reps, and adjust workouts in real time.


 

📲 Top Navigation Icons (Upper Screen)

⏸️ Pause Session (Top Left Corner)

  • Tap to pause your session without losing progress.
  • Tap “Continue” to resume when ready.

🎥 Vitruve Live

  • Activate your device’s camera to record workouts with real-time metrics overlay.
  • Configure layout/widgets before recording.
  • Switch between front/back camera.
  • Tap the red button to start and tap the screen to stop recording.

🔐 Make sure mic and camera permissions are enabled in your phone settings.

📈 Progress/History

  • View historical progress for an athlete per exercise and load.
  • Filter by:
    • Last week
    • Last month
    • Last year
    • All-time
  • Shows graphs and 1RM trend analysis.

📶 Bluetooth Connection

  • See the currently connected encoder.
  • Tap to connect a new encoder if none is active.

⚙️ Training Settings

  • Direct access to workout settings like:
    • Audio feedback
    • Rest timers
    • Velocity loss
    • Main metrics

👥 Athlete & Exercise Controls

Athlete Selector

  • Tap the circle to select who lifts next.
  • Tap the pen icon to add/remove athletes.

🏋️ Exercise Selector

  • Tap the exercise name to switch to a different one.

⚖️ Key Metrics Displayed

1️⃣ Load

  • Shows the current weight being lifted.
  • Tap to edit if the value changes mid-session.

2️⃣ Rest Time

  • Displays rest duration between sets.

3️⃣ 1RM Estimation

  • Shows a live estimation of your 1RM.
  • Tap to open the %1RM bar and adjust your load accordingly.

📋 Real-Time Session Overview

Below the metrics, your session is displayed by sets and repetitions.

⠇Tap the three-dot icon on any set to:

  • View Details: In-depth metrics including ROM, fatigue, velocity, and power data.
  • View Progress: Historical tracking of the selected load.
  • Edit Load: Adjust if the weight was entered incorrectly.
  • Delete Set: Permanently removes the set (cannot be undone).

🔍 Repetition-Level Analysis

Tap on any rep number to view detailed data such as:

  • Acceleration
  • Range of Motion (ROM)
  • Force & Power output
  • Rep duration
  • Time to Peak Velocity
  • Weight used

🗑 Delete Individual Reps

  • Remove ghost reps or unwanted data from your session.

⏸ Pause & Resume (Bottom Bar)

  • Temporarily pause recording of reps from the encoder.
  • Useful when:
    • Changing exercises
    • Adjusting encoder setup
    • Avoiding ghost reps

✅ Finish or Cancel the Workout

  • Finish: Saves the workout to your history and athlete progress.
  • Cancel: Discards the entire session.

⚠️ Canceling is irreversible.
