The Encoder's Bluetooth Doesn't Show Up
Ensure the unit is not in WIFI mode by turning it OFF and ON; if it shows WIFIXXX, switch to BT mode by performing three repetitions and holding the left button for eight seconds.
Double-check that the unit is not in WIFI mode. To do this, turn the unit OFF and then ON again. While it is turning on, the unit's screen will display the VITRUVE logo. After that, it will either show BTXXX or WIFIXXX.
We DO NOT recommend using WIFI mode. BT works much better.
If the unit is in WIFI mode, change it back to BT by following these steps:
- Power on the unit.
- Perform three repetitions by pulling the tether with your hand (ensure to complete exactly three repetitions).
- Press and hold the left button (located below the screen) for eight seconds.
