Building your first program in Vitruve Hub is simple once you understand how the Builder is organized.
Every program is made up of smaller elements β from individual exercises all the way to complete multi-phase plans.
The hierarchy works like this:
Exercises β Supersets β Blocks β Workouts β Phases β Programs
Follow these steps to create your first program:
πͺ Step 1: Create Your Exercises
- Go to Builder β Templates β Exercises.
- Review your existing exercise list.
- Tap the β+β icon (top-right corner) to add a new exercise.
- Fill in the details:
- Exercise name and description
- Whether itβs VBT-based or not
- Technical notes, load, reps, RPE, etc.
- Save your new exercise.
π‘ You can edit or delete any exercise later by clicking the three-dot icon (β¦).
π Step 2: Combine Exercises into Supersets
- Go to Builder β Templates β Supersets.
- Click the β+β icon to create a new superset.
- Add the exercises you want to pair together.
- Adjust rest times, order, and instructions.
π‘ Supersets are great for efficiency β for example, pairing squats with jumps.
π§± Step 3: Build a Block
- Open Builder β Templates β Blocks.
- Create a new block by clicking β+.β
- Add exercises or supersets.
- Name your block (e.g., βLower Strength Blockβ or βUpper Power Blockβ).
- Save it for later use.
π‘ Blocks help structure your workouts around specific training goals.
ποΈ Step 4: Create a Workout
- Go to Builder β Templates β Workouts.
- Tap the β+β icon to create your first workout.
- Combine blocks, supersets, or individual exercises.
- Add warm-ups, accessory work, and rest details.
π‘ Each workout represents a single training day.
π Step 5: Design a Phase
- Go to Builder β Templates β Phases.
- Create a new phase and name it.
- Select the days, repeats, color and workouts.
π‘ Phases group multiple workouts into a structured training block.
π Step 6: Build Your Program
- Open Builder β Templates β Programs.
- Click β+β to start your new program.
- Add one or more phases.
π‘ Once published, all assigned athletes will see their workouts in their calendar automatically.
