Learn how to connect and properly set up the Encoder before using it.
- Switch on the encoder.
- Before starting, ensure the encoder is set to "UP" mode, indicating it reads upwards. Check the UP/DOWN switch to confirm this setting.
- Ensure the encoder is set to BT (Bluetooth) mode. When turning on the encoder, the screen should display "BT"/WIFI" to indicate the Bluetooth mode is active. Watch this video on how to change the encoder mode from BT to WIFI or vice versa.
- Open the app then...
- You’ll see a Vitruve icon “V” with a red dot on the upper right corner (it means the encoder isn’t connected) - Press the vitruve icon with the red dot.
- Once your encoder is turned on, it should be visible within the app.
- Choose the encoder from the list.
- Note that your encoder's indicator light is initially red; however, it will transition to green once successfully connected to the app (watch this video)
- You’ll see a Vitruve icon “V” with a red dot on the upper right corner (it means the encoder isn’t connected) - Press the vitruve icon with the red dot.
